FOR the first time this season, Stan Ternent was able to put his full first team squad through its paces at Gawthorpe this morning, a perfectly timed boost ahead of Sunday's massive match at Watford.
"It is great to have everyone back and I was really happy with the way the lads played in the reserves the other day," he said today.
"It had been a long trip to Millwall and the game was the next day but I thought they did really well. To be fair, there are a few players that needed the game and it will have done them a lot of good.
"It was a tricky pitch but we played some good stuff and I was pleased with the way the system worked again."
Ternent gave his whole squad the day off yesterday with the serious build-up to Sunday starting this morning.
For much of the season Burnley have travelled to and from games in the south in a day but Ternent confirmed they will be heading for the game straight after training tomorrow.
