BURNLEY fans travelling to Sunday's FA Cup Quarter Final with Watford at Vicarage Road are being urged to show their colours in support of the team.
More than 4000 Burnley fans will be making their way to Hertfordshire from all over the country and the club is asking them to make their presence felt.
Marketing manager Edoardo Abis said: "We'd like all the Burnley fans travelling to the game to wear a shirt, if they've got one, or take a scarf or anything that's claret and blue.
"It's a big game for everyone and we all want to play our part, doing whatever we can to spur on the players to make sure we get the right result.
"It goes without saying that the fans will get behind the team as usual, but it would be great for the players to see a sea of claret and blue behind the goal."
The scheme has already been backed by the Boundary Clarets and representative Paul Smith said: "We'd like to recreate the same atmosphere that we had at Loftus Road when everyone wore their shirt with pride.
"This time we have even more fans there so the atmosphere should be excellent. Everyone has to get behind the team and show their colours."
Kevin Wood from the London Clarets agreed: "It will be great to get the colours shown. A lot of our members have to travel through London so they will have their colours hidden but, once they are in the ground, no problem."
