RIBBLE Valley Tory MP Nigel Evans has had to airbrush out obscenities on his website.
He was so outraged by the spread of graffiti across his constituency that he put a picture of one of the more offensive items on his computer notice board along with an appeal for anyone who knew of similar abuse on public walls and sites to contact him.
Sadly he didn't realise that the obscenity would come out as clearly readable.
Having been informed of this in the House of Commons bar by colleagues, he had to rush back and airbrush out the two-word obscene phrase.
Mr Evans said: "We were taken to see this highly unpleasant scrawl in Fulwood in Preston and I decided to highlight it on the website.
"I didn't realise the phrase would come out clearly in the picture on the website and as soon as I found out I airbrushed it over to save people's blushes.
"Sadly the people responsible for this unpleasant practice don't have any care for other people's embarrassment and sensibilities."
