CLITHEROE will be boosted by the return of top scorer Lee Cryer for tonight's trip to Curzon Ashton.
The Blues' striker has recovered from a recurrence of a leg injury sooner than expected and is hoping to play some part in tonight's game.
"It's a big boost for us, especially at this stage of the season," said Clitheroe manager Lee Sculpher.
"Going into the last third of the season we want him to play as much as we can.
"And with the game against Padiham being postponed, he should be available for when the second leg is replayed."
Adam Gardner, however, is expected to be sidelined until next weekend with an ankle injury as Clitheroe seek to end a disappointing run at Curzon's National Park.
"We've never done very well there," Sculpher added.
"They beat us 1-0 last season and we drew against them the season before.
"It's a tricky place for us to go for some reason but hopefully we'll be able to lay the bogey to rest tonight.
"They are pretty reliant on their centre forward Josh Mitten and he scores quite a few goals every season so we'll be looking to keep him out of the game."
