I agree with Albert Morris (Letters, February 22) -- the Rev Kevin Logan really does live in a world of his own when it comes to humanity and its beginnings.
Evolution shows us a crystal clear way how we have evolved into the human species. As we grow into adulthood, we leave behind the belief in a Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and God.
The Church has not got a monopoly on ethics and morals. Humanism, with a dash of paganism and being in awe of nature can be the path to a very worthwhile and contributing lifestyle.
To never intentionally judge others, to always strive to treat people as you would like to be treated and to develop a strong sense of right and wrong needs no religion.
You can accept that we human beings are responsible for our own destiny and where injustice and deprivation exists we, as human beings, must strive to change it. We must not pass it on to some fairy-tale supernatural being to deal with.
