POLICE are hunting two bogus officials who targeted the homes of an elderly man and woman in Radcliffe in two separate incidents.
At about 1.30pm on Saturday, a man and woman posing as water company officials called at a house in Bury Road, Radcliffe.
They told the occupant, an 87-year-old woman, that they needed to check the supply and stole property from the house.
Half an hour later, a couple claiming to be from the water company also called at a house in Bolton Road, Radcliffe.
Fortunately, the 88-year-old man refused to let them in and they fled empty-handed.
