COMPUTER entrepreneur Peter Fisher is trying to track down the workers who helped him build the P&P empire.
He has organised an open week at his former headquarters at the Carrs Industrial Estate in Haslingden and wants to see as many of his former colleagues as possible.
Peter is part of the consortium which has bought the building alongside the Haslingden by-pass. It has now been extensively refurbished and he is sure former P&P employees would like to look around their former workplace.
"There must have been around 500 to 600 people working there when it was P&P Plc," said Peter.
"When it was closed by its then American owners in 2000, there was a party at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel which attracted hundreds of former staff.
"I am sure there will be a lot of interest from people who worked there who now want to see how the building has been redeveloped and to chat over old times."
Peter has redeveloped his old headquarters with his son Kieran and Stephen Ashworth of Rossendale property development company Hurstwood.
The 55,000 sq ft building has been refurbished inside and out and has been renamed Link 665.
The open week began yesterday and will continue until Friday from 9.30am to 6pm.
The building will be open until 9.30pm tomorrow to allow ex-P&P staff to visit after the day's work.
