THE search is on for the champions of Clitheroe in an annual awards scheme.
The annual Clitheroe Town Awards, honour individuals and businesses for contribution to community life.
Awards are made for building enhancement and restoration, environmental improvements, service to the town and service to arts and culture.
The arts and culture award is named after the late Lancashire Evening Telegraph photographer, Jack Barry. Previous winners in the scheme include James Warburton, for his restoration of Clitheroe's former Methodist Chapel into an antique centre and wine bar.
Closing date for nominations is March 31 and the awards will be presented at a prize-giving ceremony in May.
