AN 18-year-old man appeared at Preston Crown Court today charged with the murder of a teenage football fan.
Andrew McNee, of Osborne Way, Haslingden, pleaded not guilty and was remanded into custody for trial on July 14.
McNee was arrested after the death of Nottingham Forest supporter Nathan Shaw in December last year.
Nathan, 17, had travelled to Burnley with friends to watch the Forest game at Turf Moor. He died after he was hit by a bottle outside Yates's Wine Lodge in St James Street.
