TWO teams could not get away from Blackburn fast enough - when they took on the challenge of a Great Escape against the clock.
The eight girls, who all work at Accesorize, had to see how far they could get from Blackburn without paying for any travel.
One team got as far as Preston and the other had an hour to spare at Blackpool Pleasure beach and still made it back within the seven-hour time limit.
They raised about £150 for the Monsoon Trust, which raises money for under-privileged children in India. Organiser Abigail Stanfield said: "We all managed to take the trains without paying, and we're really pleased with how much we raised. It was a great day."
