ROSSENDALE came back from a 2-0 deficit to earn a point at Leek Town.
The home side took the lead on 32 minutes when, from their first corner, Sucharewycz rose unchallenged in the six-yard box to head home.
The game then developed into a midfield battle with few chances at wither end.
John Gillies kept Rossendale in the game in the 51st minute as he made a superb save to deny a certain goal from Hadland. But Leek increased their lead with 20 minutes to go through Whittaker.
Lee Buggie's persistence was rewarded in the last 10 minutes as he chased the ball down the left. His cross was met by Ged Smith who beat the keeper before forcing his way through two tackles and smashing an unstoppable shot to secure a point.
