DRIVERS are being offered a chance to brush up on their skills in a six-week course.
Blackburn Area Road Safety Association (BARSA) is running a better driving course for motorists who want to become safer behind the wheel.
Evening lectures will be held at 8pm on Tuesdays, starting March 25, at Blackburn Northern Sports Club, in Pleckgate Road. These will be supported by practical driving sessions on Sunday mornings.
The course is based on the police driving manual called Roadcraft and will include attitudes to driving, braking and cornering techniques, skid control and motorway driving.
Those who reach the required standard will be given the opportunity to take the ROSPA advanced driving test.
The cost of the course is £20, with a £5 student discount. Prices include a 12 month membership to BARSA.
