A LOOK at the key moments from the game against Sheffield United.
BURNLEY
MARLON BERESFORD Beaten by two long range efforts and will have been unhappy with the second in particular. Had a busy night...6
DEAN WEST Struggled against the pacy attack and was often caught out of position. Also wasted a couple of crossing opportunities...5
IAN COX Did not enjoy his tussle with Kabba, getting beaten for pace on a couple of occasions, notably for the third goal...5
DRISSA DIALLO He kept battling but even he was not immune to the general malaise that swept through the Burnley side...6
GRAHAM BRANCH Had an uncomfortable evening against the impressive Blades frontline but made one key tackle to deny Brown a hat-trick...5
GLEN LITTLE Unsurprisingly ring rusty but did have a few nice touches although he was lucky not to see red...6
STEVE DAVIS First game for three months and it showed. Playing any side would have been tough but the vibrant Blades gave him a runaround...5
PAUL WELLER Also short of match fitness although he did produce a couple of nice touches and will have come on for the game...5
LEE BRISCOE Missed a great early chance with the ball on his wrong foot and struggled to get involved but good cross for Taylor...6
IAN MOORE Back in his favoured striking role he ran his heart out but never got a sight of goal...6
GARETH TAYLOR Took his goal in typical style but never had enough service to put the home defence under any great pressure...6

TIME FOR ACTION
14 Glen Little slips the ball through to Lee Briscoe who shoots with his right foot, Paddy Kenny saving low to his right
16 Stuart McCall's short pass to Michael Brown finds him in space on the edge of the box and his shot finds the top corner
29 The pace of Steve Kabba leaves Ian Cox trailing and Marlon Beresford saves at his feet and then again at the feet of Dean Windass
34 Briscoe's corner reaches the head of Davis but it loops tamely into Kenny's hands
36 Brown finds the same top corner, this time from a free kick that Beresford should have kept out
40 Windass heads tamely goalward when unmarked and Nick Montgomery is then denied by Beresford
50 It is nearly three but Kabba's shot is blocked after a good run
64 Good work by Robbie Blake finds Briscoe in space and his cross is headed home by Gareth Taylor
67 Kabba leaves Cox for dead and his cross is converted by Peter Ndlovu
68 Blake finds Ian Moore who gets it to Taylor in the area but he shoots over
72 Cox is lucky to get away with a tug on Kabba's shirt but within seconds Ndlovu smacks home number four
83 Ndlovu looks set for a hat trick but it is Allison who has his shot saved by the keeper. From the corner Beresford again denies Allison
