BOLTON Road Conservative Club is planning variety of events in an attempt to head off a financial crisis.
Six weeks ago the club announced that it was facing financial problems and that a host of events would be held in order to keep the 'top Con' afloat.
Members have rallied by organising a table top sale and a Stars in their Eyes night.
A bric-a brac sale will be on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, featuring a children's stall and a tombola, with all proceeds going to the club.
Friday, March 21 will see the Stars in their Eyes night with a variety of wannabe stars and karaoke fanatics.
Committee member Bronwyn Halliwell said: "We are doing these things to raise money for the club and we hope they will be a lot of fun for the people involved at the same time.
"People are being asked to register for the Stars in the Eyes night before Tuesday next week by calling 01254 703511 after 7pm."
A casino night will be held at the club on Friday, April 4, where all proceeds will go to the NSPCC.
