DEVELOPERS behind an application to convert part of a building in Haslingden into a gym today confirmed they were not behind another application in Waterfoot.
The Hurstwood Group, Rawtenstall, are not behind plans for a gym in Waterfoot, which went before Rossendale Council's development control committee.
Hurstwood has applied to convert 50 per cent of the Link 665 building on the Carrs Industrial Estate into health and fitness use. But the application has been deferred until next month.
Hurstwood's asset and development manager Alastair Procter said: "We have no connections with the Waterfoot plan.
"Our application was solely concerned with the change of use of a building on the Carrs Industrial Estate in Haslingden."
