POLICE are investigating two arson attacks on cars.
Firefighters from Bury were called out at 12.30am on Monday (Marfch 10) to Badger Street in Walmersley to deal with a blazing Toyota Corina. A side window had been smashed prior to the vehicle being torched.
Several hours earlier, at 8.30pm on Sunday, Whitefield fire crews were alerted to a burning VW Jetta which had been abandoned in Lodge Brow, Radcliffe. The car had Dutch registration plates. Both vehicles were destroyed.
