NIMBLE-fingered pensioner Mary Whewell proved a star attraction at the International Women's Day festival at Manchester Town Hall.
For the grandmother's piano playing was one of the most popular performances at the event, the country's largest indoor information market dedicated to all things female.
The 76-year-old, who lives in Chesham, Bury, is a favourite at the annual festival at which she was making her sixth consecutive appearance.
She played a mixture of musical styles, from Chopin to her favourite, Scot Joplin. She learned to play the piano as a child and has performed many times locally for the WRVS, pantomimes and at Bury Parish Church.
Apart from her piano playing, visitors to the festival also enjoyed a host of workshops, talks and live entertainment.
Manchester City Council worked closely with the Pankhurst Centre to create the event and more than 160 organisations took part, making it the most successful festival to date.
