HIGHBURY hero Brad Friedel believes Rovers can pull off another shock tomorrow when Arsenal visit Ewood.
Friedel's man-of-the-match heroics earlier this season helped Rovers record a brilliant 2-1 win at the home of the Gunners.
And the United States number one insists Graeme Souness's side have the resilience required to rise to the occasion once again as they attempt to put a dent in the Londoners' title hopes.
"Arsenal are arguably one of the best teams in Europe right now so it's going to be a very, very difficult task for us," said Friedel.
"But we seem to like playing against the better sides because we get to play our football, so hopefully we can get the same sort of result as we did against them earlier in the season.
"That was a great defensive performance. I don't think we had too many attacks at their goal on the day.
"But we defended very bravely and got the result we wanted in the end."
Rovers go into tomorrow's game aiming to extend their impressive winning sequence to four matches following back-to-back victories over Southampton, Chelsea and Manchester City.
With nine games remaining, they still have an outside chance of qualifying for Europe by claiming a place in the top six.
And Friedel certainly hasn't given up on a late charge in the final few months, despite the fact they face some tough fixtures.
"We are going to put everything into getting into the top six," said Friedel.
"On paper, people will be saying we've got Newcastle away, Arsenal at home, and Manchester United away, which are all difficult games.
"But Charlton at home is going to be just as difficult, if not more difficult, because they're on a good run of form at the minute.
"Leeds away, Bolton at home and West Brom are also going to be hard because they're all fighting for their lives for different reasons.
"We've just got to hope we can keep the same kind of form going that we've shown in the last three games, try to keep it tight at the back, and look to pick up as many points as possible."
