PNE women had chances to win this match but could also have lost it as both sides squandered several goal chances.
The Whites started brightly with Jo Ashworth shooting narrowly wide on four minutes and Louise Cafferkey hitting the side netting.
Karen Browne saved well on 20 minutes but chances for either side were few and far between as the play was bogged down in midfield. Amanda Cummings hit the cross bar and Sarah Berry went close on 40 minutes with an overhead kick.
PNE kept piling on the pressure, but went in at the break 0-0.
The second half saw more chances created as the pace of the game grew frantic but again neither could break the deadlock. Fiona Dransfield nearly did but looped the ball over the bar from six yards.
Louise Cafferkey shot just wide and Amanda Cummings was unlucky on 63 minutes. The last 15 minutes was end to end as a Melanie Walker header from a Laura Cain free kick on 80 minutes, went just went wide. PNE battled to the final whistle, but had to settle for a share of the points.
PNE's next match is Sunday away to Bury Ladies.
Final score: PNE Ladies 12s 0 Warrington Grange 0
