NELSON are in the middle of a run of three tough games.
But you won't hear too many complaints from manager Denis Underwood as he sees it as the final test to assess his players.
His side played well to earn a draw at Bacup Borough, and were unlucky not to earn maximum points but Duncan Edwards scored a late equaliser after Paul Sconce had fired Nelson in front just before the break.
"We were a bit disappointed to concede so late on because we had the game in the bag," Underwood said.
"But if somebody had said to me before the game we will give you a 1-1 draw we would have snapped their hands off.
"Bacup did start off better than we did in the first quarter of an hour, but after that it was pretty much even and we scored a decent goal just before half-time."
Nelson entertain NWC Division Two's form side Stone Dominoes tomorrow afternoon and Underwood hopes to keep the same starting line-up from their midweek draw.
