BACUP Borough are preparing for their second derby in less than a week.
But manager Brent Peters admitted he will be treating tomorrow's home game against Great Harwood as just "any other game".
After a string of disappointing results, starting with a 2-0 defeat at Darwen, followed by a 6-0 defeat against Stone Dominoes which sent them crashing out of the North West Counties Division Two Trophy, Bacup will be geared up for getting their promotion push back on track.
Peters was hoping their upturn in form would start on Wednesday night, when they entertained neighbours Nelson. But they had to settled for a share of the spoils and a late equaliser, which came courtesy of Duncan Edwards.
After the game, Peters said: "While some might feel that it's two points dropped, I don't. The way that games have been going for us, we've just had no luck, and it was the same on Wednesday night.
"So that goal and that point will hopefully set us off on another run until the end of the season, and we will see where that takes us.
"Only a few games ago, our dominance was bringing us a hatful of goals. Things haven't been running for us recently so maybe our equaliser will set us up for the run-in nicely."
But Bacup's will to win does not overly concern Grat Harwood manager John Hughes, especially after adding centre half John Moss from Trafford and striker Ian Simpson from Kendal to his squad.
"For the first time in months I've got a fully fit squad to choose from, and I'm very happy with the signings I've made," he said.
"And we're hoping to have Russell McKay back after recovering from a twisted ankle."
He added: "They gave us a hiding the last time we played them but I will be confident going into tomorrow's game, while their confidence must be down at the moment."
And Peters confessed he would be guarding against a backlash following Bacup's 7-2 win at the Showground in November.
"We gave them a drubbing and that's someting they won't want to happen again," he said.
"When you beat teams six and seven they are really smarting and it gives them the added insentive to get back at you, so they will be even more determined."
