Nineteen-year old Asim Khan claimed a featherweight win in a bout to raise money for charity.
He stopped Oldham's Asif Iqbal in the second round of the fight held to raise money for the Blackburn Lions at King George's Hall, Blackburn.
Yaqoob Hussain, who runs the Audley Boxing Club for which Asim fights said, "He's been with the club for quite while and he's one of six with us who have great potential.
"He used his height well and used his reach well to just pick off his opponent. He got a silver medal in Denmark in the Hancock Box Cup so it sows he's got ability.
"We have over 15 people turning out every Monday and Wednesday at Audley Community Centre to attend the club. Some just come to keep fit and anyone interested is welcome."
The club travels to Copenhagen at the end of the month to take part in another major tournament.
