CELEBRATIONS were held yesterday as St John's Church in Worsthorne marked the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone for the conversion of several rooms at the back of the church which are used for functions and church group meetings.
The day was marked by a special visit by the Archdeacon of Blackburn, the Ven John Hawley, who preached at morning service on Sunday.
