BLACKPOOL Football Club's stadium development plans look set for a major boost with a deal about to be struck to rent out 36,000 square feet of office space at Bloomfield Road.
The deal, expected to net the club more than £300,000 a year, will see Blackpool Council's social services directorate and the area's Primary Care Trust move in to offices on the first and second floors of the new stadium.
The club has also agreed that part of the new south stand development - the next stage in Bloomfield Road's regeneration - will be given over to community uses.
The plans are expected to be agreed at a council meeting next week.
