YOUNG people will be given information about where to go and what to do with the launch of Burnley's first youth information centre.
Anyone aged 11 to 24 years will be able to find out information on issues such as housing, education, leisure, foreign travel, health and culture at the centre, which was launched at the same time as the official opening of the district youth and community office on Friday..
Young people are welcome at the information centre at 11 Finsley Gate without an appointment, between 2pm and 6pm, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
They can also telephone 01282 450823 to book an appointment.
The District Youth and Community office has been up and running for the past six months but the leader of Lancashire County Council, Coun Hazel Harding, will officially open it at a ceremony on Friday.
Islamic and Christian religious leaders blessed the office and information centre.
