HAVING had five successive away matches, the Clarets will embark on a run of five straight home games when Leicester City visit Turf Moor tomorrow night.
That is because the away trip to Portsmouth, scheduled for Saturday March 29, has been called off due to international call-ups for a number of Pompey players.
The match has now been switched to Tuesday, April 15 with a 7.45pm kick off.
Following the visit of the Foxes, Burnley host Grimsby, Bradford, Watford and Preston and if there is to be any hope of a dramatic late surge up the table, they have to win them all.
The postponement of the match at Fratton Park is at least good news for Clarets striker Gareth Taylor as he was last week named in the Wales squad for their Euro 2004 qualifying game against Azerbaijan at the Millennium Stadium that day.
On the down side, it does mean another long midweek trip for the fans who will have been down to Norwich just three days earlier.
