ENCOURAGING youngsters to take an interest in school can sometimes be a feat in itself.
But getting children to be studious is quite another.
Now a study guide has been developed to give a few tips.
Mind Maps for Kids is a new book by author Tony Buzan. It has been written especially with a young audience in mind.
For children aged seven to 14 it demonstrates a new take on study, homework and tests skills on mind mapping.
The book is a system of planning and note-taking short cuts which can cut homework in half and make school work seem like fun.
It shows that Mind Maps can be used as a formula to remembering facts and figures.
It concentrates on simplifying planning and helps find the right answer to more complicated puzzles.
He explains the system of Mind Maps -- step-by-step Mapping and how it can help to remember things, think more clearly, revise and save time.
It is a full colour workbook with the emphasis on play, is priced £12.99 and is published on April 7.
