DARWEN Cricket Club wants new young players and is staging a day-long event on Sunday.
Girls and boys aged between seven and 14 are invited if interested in training with the club this season.
Ian Cordingley, junior co-ordinator, said: "The day will feature current members and we want youngsters to come along and get a taste of what's involved.
"Junior managers and coaches will offer advice and answer any questions parents might have."
A tombola and sports quiz also feature this Sunday, as well as a stall selling cricket equipment. It starts at 2pm at the Birch Hall cricket ground, more information from Ian on 01254 725185.
