SO the war has finally arrived. There is no doubt that the UK/USA axis will be successful in taking control of Iraq. But at what cost?
After Iraq what? I was present at one of the series of meetings that Jack Straw held on Friday, March 14 in Blackburn. He stated that the UK government was doing its best to move USA away from its position on Israel.
Is the UK, therefore, going to make a unilateral stand against Israel? How about an invasion for the continued murder of innocent civilians, continued destabilisation of the region and incursions into sovereign territories -- Lebanon and Pallestine?
At the Friday meeting Mr Straw failed to answer questions and his "facts" were far from true. A number of times, I had to correct him.
On Friday he finally demonstrated to his constituents that he is no longer fit to represent them.
