LOS Pacaminos are a band you can absolutely count on for a great night out - and they will be performing at the Platform in Morecambe on Saturday, April 5.
Some of the best musicians in the business have teamed up to present an incendiary mix of Tex-Mex, Spanish songs and original material that make up the music of Los Pacaminos.
The best known member of the band is Paul Young, one of the UK's finest vocalists. But this show will not be an evening of Paul singing his greatest hits.
The band started out playing just for fun, but their style of foot stom-ping bar room music became popular and so they carried on.
For those who are unfamiliar, Tex-Mex music is somewhere between the Mariachi and Norteno styles of Mexico and the country/blues of America's deep South. The band empathises with Ry Cooder, Flaco Jiminez, The Texas Tornadoes and Los Lobos - and ven Speedy Gonzales if enough tequila is flowing.
The show will start at 8pm and tickets priced at £12 adults (£10 concs) are from 01524-582803.
