LANCASTER Rugby has commissioned and produced a rugby league edition of the board game Monopoly.
Professionally manufactured by Hasbro, the game includes all the usual features of the game - metal counters, Community Chest and Chance cards, the traditional wooden houses and hotels - and 22 rugby league grounds.
The historic grounds include Giant Axe, home of both the original and the new Lancaster Rugby Clubs, as well as the likes of Headingley, The Boulevard, both Craven Parks and Fartown.
The board is strictly a one-off production and as such is being raffled to raise funds for the newly founded but ambitious rugby league club for the forthcoming season.
Tickets are £1 each and the winner will be drawn at a home fixture this summer. For more details - including finding out how to win the game - log on to www.lancasterrugby.com and click on the Monopoly link!
