PRIMARY school pupils are enjoying a taste of democracy after setting up a student council.
Edenfield CE Primary School wants the junior authority to give youngsters a platform to discuss school issues.
The council is made up of ten pupils, two from each of the five classes, which meets every fortnight.
The council organised a bring-and-buy sale in the hall during lunchtime with the funds going to Pendlebury Children's Hospital in Manchester.
