THE funeral took place last week of Mrs Alice Anderson. Mrs Anderson, 78, lived on Dorset Street, Rosegrove, for nearly all her life.

Alice liked to chat with people and was a well liked lady in the area.

CAR owners are urged to spare a thought for people with wheelchairs and prams.

The appeal comes after a number of complaints about motorists parked at the side of dropped kerb edges.

Drivers may not realise that people with wheelchairs or praims have problems trying to go to the shops when cars are parked carelessly.
