POLICE searching for a missing Cumbrian man have revealed he may be on holiday in Blackpool.
James Garner, 53, from Yeowartville in Workington, Cumbria, may have headed for the resort without telling his family, Lancashire Police said.
He was last seen by members of his family during the early afternoon of Saturday, March 15, a police spokeswoman said.
"It is possible that Mr Garner has decided to go away on holiday and not notified family of this intention," she added.
Las Vegas and the Isle of Man were said to be Mr Garner's two other favourite destinations.
He was described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, of large build, with thinning grey hair and blue eyes.
When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a sweatshirt and a slate grey Marks and Spencer jacket and black trainers.
Officers are urging anyone with any information about Mr Garner's whereabouts to contact Workington Police Station on 01900 602422.
