BLACKBURN Rovers will attempt to pull off their second successive double tomorrow when they take on Newcastle at St James' Park.
Graeme Souness's men became the first Premiership side to record a double over Arsenal this season when they beat the Gunners 2-0 at Ewood last week.
And now they've set their sights on achieving a similar feat against the title-chasing Magpies as they close in on a top six finish of their own.
"It was a big three points for us last week, but we've got eight games left and no-one is thinking about Arsenal now," said Souness.
"It's a difficult game tomorrow if you look at Newcastle's home record.
"They are a very difficult team to play against on their own pitch.
"I know we had a good victory against them earlier in the season but that will count for nothing tomorrow.
"I thought that flattered us anyway because they went down to 10 men so it's going to be a very hard game for us, regardless of what happened to them in Europe this week."
Newcastle have come up on the rails in the title race following a poor start to the season.
And Souness believes they can still bridge the five-point gap which is currently separating them and leaders Arsenal, providing they can bounce back quickly from the disappointment of their Champions League exit in midweek.
"Anything is possible between now and the end of the season," said Souness.
"It's all about how teams react to being beaten and punched on the nose and that's something which has been put at Arsenal's door and now Newcastle's as well.
"But they're a good team with a great manager.
"Bobby Robson is an absolute legend, isn't he?
"Still wanting to be involved in this mad business at the age of 70, and showing the kind of passion and enthusiasm that he does, makes him a very special man."
As for Rovers' prospects, last week's win over Arsenal put them firmly in contention for a late charge for Europe.
But Souness is refusing to get carried away by talk of a top-six finish.
"I've never talked of the top six," said the Rovers boss.
"Our aim has always been to get as many points as we possibly can and if, at the end of the day, we get there then great.
"If we don't then we'll try again next year."
Andy Cole is back in the squad after resolving his dispute with the manager but he may have to settle for a place on the bench.
David Dunn is also in the frame for a place on the subs bench after shaking off a hamstring injury.
Rovers will choose from: Friedel, Taylor, Gresko, Berg, Short, Flitcroft, Tugay, Gillespie, Duff, Yorke, Sukur, Cole, Dunn, Johansson, Todd, McEveley, Douglas, Kelly.
