A NEW CD has been produced and is now on sale promoting music from Pendle and its twin towns of Creil in France and Marl in Germany.
The CD contains 23 contemporary and classical songs performed by choirs and music schools from each area.
Entitled 'Triple Harmony', the Pendle songs on the CD feature Nelson Civic Ladies Choir, Nelson Civic Junior Choir, Nelson Arion Choir and Colne Orpheus Glee Union.
David Carter, chairman of Pendle Twinning Association, said: "The CD shows the excellent links that Pendle has developed over the years with its twin towns of Creil and Marl. The songs should appeal to a wide variety of people.
"We are grateful for the work done by Roger Kendall at Techsonic in Barrowford in compiling this CD. The CD is also a lasting tribute to our recently retired chairman, Alan Evans, who initiated the project."
The CD, priced £10, is available from Colne and Nelson Town Halls.
