DARWEN Weight Watchers have raised £125 for a terminally ill mother-of-five from Nelson.
Tracy McCamon, 34, from Charles Street was told she had cancer less than two months ago and since then, has been raising money for a trust fund for her children aged between two and 17-years-old.
Friends and family have been rallying around to raise money.
Lorraine Jones, of Darwen Weight Watchers, said: "We heard about Tracy and decided to do something about it. We really wanted to help her children and so the group set about raising the money.
"I know that she was very grateful and Tracy couldn't believe that people who didn't even know her would go out of their way to raise money like that."
Weight Watchers in Hoddlesden also raised £100 for Cancer Research UK.
Lorraine said: "It's great to know that our members are so thoughtful and generous."
