CASTLE Hill Primary School is celebrating after raising hundreds of pounds for Comic Relief.
For an entire week a variety of different breakfasts were served to youngsters at the Tonge Moor school to raise charity cash. There was also a raffle and a 'red day' -- where children paid money to wear "red" for one day. In total the school raised more than £300.
Deputy headteacher Mary Hyland said: "It was a real school effort. Parents, children teachers and outside groups all joined in."
