HOLOCAUST survivors captivated an audience at the launch of the Anne Frank exhibition in Burnley.
The exhibition, which is being held at the Mechanics Theatre in Manchester Road, has been billed as one of the world's most moving experiences.
It tells the life story of Anne Frank, a Jewish girl whose family fled from Nazi Germany to Holland. After Hitler's armies invaded their adopted country her family was forced to spend two years living in hiding.
During this time Anne, who died in a concentration camp at the age of 15, kept a diary which became a world best seller. The exhibition runs to May 3.
