Weddings take place every weekend throughout the summer months with venues being booked way in advance. Organising a wedding is no mean feat and takes a great deal of care and detail.
Finding a perfect venue is really difficult and lets be honest it all depends on your budget. Your local community centre is usually a first port of call. Now it doesn't matter if they don't look as glamorous as they should but they are very very practical when it comes to holding an Asian wedding.
If you want to go one step further and really impress the locals try the range of conference and concert halls available. Many conference halls go to great lenghts now to make sure they take can can cater for Asian weddings and it might be an idea to just ring around to find out what they can do for you.
City centre hotels and those based in the beautiful countryside can really lift the day. But unlike other venues you will have to tell your parents not to invite thousands of thousands of people. Smaller weddings are becoming more and more popular with couples who are having much more of a say in how they want the day to go. Again it takes only a minute to ring around and many are happy for you to go down and have a look.
Much like hotels , restaurants are beginning to attract more weddings. Obviously, you'll only be able to invite a select number of guests but at least you won't have to worry about catering. Happy hunting
