POLICE in Blackburn today appealed for a missing 18-year-old girl to let them know she is safe.
Amanda Jane Nolan left her home in Oxford Drive, Knuzden, at 2pm on Saturday, April 5, and has not been seen since. She has not been into work, at an engineering firm in Padiham, since last Thursday.
Inspector Graham Keytesaid: "We are growing increasingly concerned as Amanda is believed to be vulnerable. Her family is worried sick. We would ask her to attend a police station.
"Her whereabouts will be kept confidential but we do need to see that she is safe."
Amanda is white, 5ft 2ins, slim with blue eyes and very long blonde straight hair. She was wearing a navy blue lightweight jacket, navy Adidas tracksuit pants with white stripes and various gold-coloured jewellery.
