A BANNED driver who got behind the wheel for the seventh time has been jailed for six months.
Harry Michael Robert Nugent, 21, told the police "You again, " when he was arrested.
The defendant, of Leyland Road, Burnley, is currently serving a ten-month sentence for drugs offences and the new sentence must run at the same time. He was also disqualified from driving for a year.
Nugent, of Leyland Road, Burnley, admitted driving while disqualified and using an uninsured vehicle, on November 15.
The court was told Nugent had been convicted of driving while disqualified and not having insurance in his absence last February.
He was seen reversing a car on Croft Street, Burnley, by a police officer who knew he was banned.
The defendant had six previous convictions for disqualified driving and was currently in prison for possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Trevor Grice, defending, said there was only one sentence available to the court and that had to be a term concurrent to the one he was serving.
