PENDLE Council's park ranger service will hold a moth night at Marsden Park, in Nelson, on Saturday as part of National Moth Week.
Anyone wanting to take part is asked to meet at the conservatory in the park at 7pm.
To join in the event, people will be asked to catch as many moths as they can in the moth trap provided, identify what kind it is with the help of the park rangers, let the moth free, and record the type.
The results will be compared with moth events all over Britain to establish the different types of moths found in each area.
