MAGISTRATES have adjourned the case of a teen tearaway who has "abused and tormented residents" in two neighbourhoods.
The bench extended an interim anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) placed on Aaron Stoddard, 15, formerly of Spring Street, Accrington, last month.
Hyndburn magistrates heard that the tiny terror, who is just 4ft 11ins, has terrorised neighbours in Spring Hill and Church for two years riding a motorised scooter on pavements and threatening to mow old people down. The nine conditions placed on Stoddard, now of Blackburn Road, Haslingden, include entering Accrington -- unless accompanied by his father or going to his doctor -- or Church, entering any private premises in Hyndburn without permission or remaining if asked to leave, damaging property, causing distress, making abusive or offensive language or gestures and encouraging others to do likewise.
A full hearing to consider a full ASBO will be held on June 11.
