ACCRINGTON milkman Vic Allonby thought about toasting his family's 'winnings' in Gordon Brown's budget - but he will have to stick to the white stuff.
Vic, partner Wendy and their 13-year-old daughter Carla Victoria, will be better off by a mere £2.62 this year.
The family went to Mayes Business Partnership in Accrington to see how the Chancellor's economic shuffling would impact on the weekly budget.
Vic was none too excited to learn about his 5p a week windfall. "It's not very much, but things could have been worse," he said.
