LEIGH dialect poet Joseph Wildman has written a piece of prizewinning prose.
He lifted the Pomfret Cup in the Lancashire Authors' Association annual competition for his work "A Threep'ny Key".
The group hopes to boost its dwindling membership by encouraging new writers or lovers of Lancashire literature and history to attend meetings. More information on 01254 56788.
