AN 83-year-old woman died after a fall at home, an inquest heard.
Veronica Rowson, of Cedar Road, Leigh, suffered from Paget's Disease and had been unsteady on her feet for the last three years.
Her son Michael told the inquest he had found his mother lying unconscious on her bed on January 21. She was admitted to Wigan Infirmary but never fully regained consciousness. She died of a chest infection on February 11.
Coroner Jennifer Leeming concluded death was accidental due to a bang on the head before she was found unconscious.
