AS the manager of Oxfam's shop in Lord Square, Blackburn, I would like to thank the people of the town for their generosity in support of this year's Red Nose appeal.
We sold more noses than ever this year -- so many, in fact, that we had to get extra supplies from other shops to keep up with demand. In all .+we raised well over £3,200 through the sale of noses, badges and car noses. This money will be well spent by Comic Relief in support of a wide range of projects, many of them involving Oxfam.
If any readers would like to continue to help poor people throughout the world we are always looking for people to help us run our shop.
