AS A pedestrian, I have read with interest your letters of complaint about motorists.
I wonder, does anyone notice the performance of pedestrians crossing the roads. I have watched in amazement at mothers with babies, teenagers, and other crossing the roads near traffic lights when there are around a dozen proper crossings provided in the city centre alone. I must be a nightmare for motorists in general.
At some time in the near future someone will be hurt and the blame will be put unfairly on the driver.
I remember when it was an offence to jay walk. It's time someone took note of pedestrians habits instead of motorists.
