POLICE are to look again at the circumstances surrounding the death of a teenage girl in Blackpool last year.
Naomi Essery, 18, was originally believed to have committed suicide after being found with a wine bottle and empty paracetamol packets at the home she shared with her boyfriend. Police did not treat her death as suspicious at the time.
However, police have pledged to investigate concerns raised by Naomi's family after an open verdict recorded at an inquest in February.
Her mother, Debbie, has offered a reward of £10,000 to anyone offering information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person involved in Naomi's death.
Mrs Essery, who lives in Stafford, said her daughter had not expressed any unhappiness or suicidal feelings to family or friends and had been planning to return home permanently the following week.
